My name is James and I’ve been Type 1 for almost 2 years now. In this website, we’ll look at ways to help keep your levels within range, easy recipes, what to eat and what not to eat at restaurants, and a host of other topics to keep you surviving and thriving with Type 1 Diabetes.
When I got out of the hospital following a bout of Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), I didn’t really find a lot information on how to go about my life or what to expect and almost all of the information was geared towards Type 2. I hope this page serves as a reference point and helps you in your own journey.
